For the last week, I have been mesmerized by this new version of the Leo Ravenswood (aka ‘Lazy Leo’) classic, “The Return of the Great White Hunter,” from the 1980s. Leo’s was in black and white and was, for bondage fans, a true classic. This Korean artist has updated it in the anime style, in excellent color, and added a whole new ending far beyond where Leo’s left you. I first saw the Korean language version, then went to a website where there had been an attempt to write an English language story to go with it. I thought their story was really lame, and didn’t match the pictures in several very important ways.
So…. I’ve rewritten the vast majority of the story. If you know the Lazy Leo original, you’ll see some remnants of Leo’s text, but I also adapted a story I heard many years ago (supposedly true) about a NOPD mafia investigator who paid for his investigation with a life of slavery. While the artwork is great… I made just a couple of very minor changes to the very last pages, to sync it with my storyline. I hope these words enhance some great artwork.
